A NOD TO GATSBY!

"Who wants to go to town?" demanded Daisy insistently. Gatsby's eyes floated toward her. "Ah," she cried, "you look so cool."

So our evening begins...who could refuse Daisy?

We all headed to town, in this case, Decatur. Our destination was the Old Decatur Courthouse for the marriage of Jody & Michael! While Gatsby may have looked cool, we will admit to a small amount of "glistening" with outside temperatures reaching well into the 90s!

One hardly needs to exhaust any intuitive resources to guess that we are proceeding with a theme here...and a lavish one at that!

The grooms looked amazing in merlot tuxedos, along with groomsmen in white jackets and attendants in metallic bugle beaded gowns. The best thing of all occurred as the guests arrived in like attire...the 20's were alive and well and a party of immense proportions was just a staircase away!

Gatsby would not have existed without excess and the evening embraced this sensibility. Maribou and pearls, crystal and rhinestones, glitz and glamour danced in exquisite harmony with a base palette of whites and ivories. Fabulous!!!

It was great to work with the following vendors- Soiree South, Endive Atlanta, Soul Spin Studios and Same Sex Wedding Photographer.

Our top hats go off to the grooms as we wish them all luck and good fortune in their journey together. It's a bright yellow roadster with the top down and two scarves intertwined in the breeze!
