DANI & BEN
On any given Saturday night, the square in Decatur is abuzz with a celebratory attitude that permeates the thick, muggy evening air. The Old Decatur Courthouse is the architectural grande dame of the square...and that old gal knows a thing or two about throwing a party!
On this particular night in July, the Courthouse was host to the beautiful union of Dani and Ben. Dani shared her vision prior to our design consultation. (A requirement that is de rigueur for all of our brides. This assures a relevant design proposal that is on point with clients' wishes.)
Dani's style can best be described as organic with an air of sophistication. Her color palette combined warm and cool shades, with navy and coral establishing color dominance.
Dani's bouquet was a dense composition of rich texture and soft hues. Her attendants carried a more casual floral accessory that embraced a brighter palette...perfect against their navy dresses!
The reception tables featured simple compilations, combining rustic white lanterns, colored glass bud vases, small hand tied bouquets and a plethora of various luminaries.
It was our pleasure to work with the following vendors: McKenna Mansfield of Weddings by Carter, Brian Dean of Brian Dean Photography, Soiree Catering and the Courthouse staff and administration.
So the next time you are in Decatur on a Saturday night, take a stroll by the Courthouse and look up to the 2nd story windows. You will undoubtedly see the glow of candlelight, hear the strains of a classic dance anthem and know that a couple is having the night of their lives!
